Florida Panthers -0.5 (+100)
Boston is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights on the road. Steve Shields should be able to outduel Raycroft (backup goalie - who should start). Panthers should be able to pull a win at home against a fatigued Bruins team.

Dallas Stars -0.5 (+100)
Stars are the much better team on paper, however, Nashville has defeated Dallas 5 times in their last 6 meetings. Nevertheless, the Dallas Stars have enough fire-power and excellent special teams to capitalize on the Preds' mistakes and score on Vokoun.

New York Islanders ML -101
Rick DiPietro is MUCH better then Garth Snow... Islanders often play tight-checking hockey with the Sabres...should be a close one.

NY Rangers ML +128
Jussi Markkanen will be getting the start to prove himself vs Columbus. The Rangers coming of a disappointing lost in which they had led 3-1 in...Call me a sucker for betting on the Rangers again - but lets see if Glen Sather can get these over-paid players to come out to play!?!

San Jose Sharks +0.5 (-120)
The Sharks lost to the Oilers DUE to too many penalties down the stretch - especially during the 3rd period of their first game. Looking for Sharks to take a bite out of the Flames!

Andrew Raycroft stopped 34 out of 35 shots on goal, including 3 in OT. to keep Bruins in tonights game. This young guy is the real thing, look for him to share GT duties with Potvin, not solely back-up.

Too much of a question mark for me to bet on. Will he be good or will he suck? Why risk money on such unanswered questions?

Thanks for the report wil.

Definitely keep an eye on the guy, I am not saying just bet him every time he plays. The Bruins had him at their AHL team last year, where he did very well. Word is the kid has a chance to be a top goalie in the NHL someday.

ULGY RECAP
Florida Panthers -0.5 (+100) Fuk - I knew this was coming - the Panthers led the league last season in OTs and ties grrrr
Dallas Stars -0.5 (+100) Easy $
New York Islanders ML -101 Even easier $
NY Rangers ML +128 NEVER playing the Rangers again, unless given a solid reason - these ****ers already cost me 3 units in 2 games! The Rangers DIDN'T even SHOW up today!
San Jose Sharks +0.5 (-120) This team is just draining my funds too - I'll probably play 'em in their home-opener though - lol
